The king is not saved by his great army; a warrior is not delivered by his great strength. The war horse is a false hope for salvation, and by its great might it cannot rescue. Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, … Continue reading →

We base so much of what we do towards God on what we want to do and what we are comfortable doing. More times than most all that we are willing to do for God in the form of worship is external gestures. We all try to create a place of worship and a “new thing” or “new way” of worship. We dress it up and call it pure because we have made it pure. We take out what we feel is tradition based on our own wisdom.

Romans 5:6-11 (English Standard Version) 6For(A) while we were still weak, at the right time(B) Christ died for the ungodly. 7For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— 8but(C) God shows his love for us in that(D) while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9Since, therefore,(E) we have now been … Continue reading →

If I said that blessings are coming your way, you would like it but if I said satan has asked sift you (luke 22:31) you would rebuke me and say I have a demon. John 8:49 “I am not possessed by a demon,” said Jesus, “but I honor my Father and you dishonor me. 50 I am not … Continue reading →

One of the great majestic names of the LORD God is “The LORD Our Righteousness” (Jer. 33:16). Jesus Christ is our righteousness (1Corinthians 1:30). We do not and cannot attain a right relationship with God in our own righteousness because our self-righteousness is as filthy rags. We are guilty sinners in the need of a … Continue reading →
