The king is not saved by his great army; a warrior is not delivered by his great strength. The war horse is a false hope for salvation, and by its great might it cannot rescue. Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, … Continue reading

Ezekiel 36:22-24 “Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations to which you came. And I will vindicate the holiness … Continue reading

What Directs Me

A Living Sacrifice 1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers,  by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world,  but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may … Continue reading

Well Politics

We base so much of what we do towards God on what we want to do and what we are comfortable doing. More times than most all that we are willing to do for God in the form of worship is external gestures. We all try to create a place of worship and a “new thing” or “new way” of worship. We dress it up and call it pure because we have made it pure. We take out what we feel is tradition based on our own wisdom.

Why I Do What I Do

I guess people wonder why I do what I do.  I guess they wonder why I post so much on facebook or why I post blogs so often.  I guess they wonder why I have some many twitter posts too.   It wouldn’t be an issue if it wasn’t for the content of my posts, … Continue reading

It Hurts

If I said that blessings are coming your way, you would like it but if I said satan has asked sift you  (luke 22:31) you would rebuke me and say I have a demon. John 8:49 “I am not possessed by a demon,” said Jesus, “but I honor my Father and you dishonor me. 50 I am not … Continue reading

Christ Our Righteousness

One of the great majestic names of the LORD God is “The LORD Our Righteousness” (Jer. 33:16). Jesus Christ is our righteousness (1Corinthians 1:30).  We do not and cannot attain a right relationship with God in our own righteousness because our self-righteousness is as filthy rags.  We are guilty sinners in the need of a … Continue reading
