If I said that blessings are coming your way, you would like it but if I said satan has asked sift you (luke 22:31) you would rebuke me and say I have a demon. John 8:49 “I am not possessed by a demon,” said Jesus, “but I honor my Father and you dishonor me. 50 I am not … Continue reading →

One of the great majestic names of the LORD God is “The LORD Our Righteousness” (Jer. 33:16). Jesus Christ is our righteousness (1Corinthians 1:30). We do not and cannot attain a right relationship with God in our own righteousness because our self-righteousness is as filthy rags. We are guilty sinners in the need of a … Continue reading →

The work of Jesus Christ as Savior is the prominent theme in the Bible. He is the promised seed of woman who will conquer Satan (Gen. 3:15). He is the promised Servant of Yahweh who would bear the sins of the whole world (Isa. 53:4-6; Jn. 1:24). As the Savior Jesus Christ died on the … Continue reading →

“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). The Scriptures are very clear that the wrath of God is visited upon sinners or else that the Son of God dies for them. Either sinners are punished for their sins or else there takes … Continue reading →

The apostle Paul tells us that we shall be included in the radiance of the coming glory, which will put into perspective the present sufferings we experience. “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us” (Romans 8:18).

The apostle Paul gives us an excellent summary of the salvation God provides in Philippians 3:9. Here is the very heart of the Good News in Jesus Christ. That I may “be found in him, not because I have my own righteousness derived from the law, but because I have the righteousness that comes by … Continue reading →
