Hebrews 11:1Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are … Continue reading →

From Abide in Christ website http://www.abideinchrist.com/ Do I see the beauty of a holy life as Jesus saw it? Do I see lost people through His eyes? Do I understand the eternal purpose of God with the same conviction that Jesus had? The apostle Paul said, “We have the mind of Christ” (I Corinthians 2:16). What … Continue reading →

Psalm 119:104 Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. 105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. 106 I have sworn an oath and confirmed it, to keep your righteous rules. 107 I am severely afflicted; give me life, O Lord , according … Continue reading →

Philippians 4:11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.
These words show us that contentment is not a natural propensity of man. “Ill weeds grow apace.” Covetousness, discontent, and murmuring are as natural to man as thorns are to the soil. We need not sow thistles and brambles; they come up naturally enough, because they are indigenous to earth: and so, we need not teach men to complain; they complain fast enough without any education.

A Living Sacrifice 1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may … Continue reading →

The one thing that is evident among those who don’t believe in Christ Jesus is this. Once you remove ethics, morality, and life after death; what we are left with is a fear of accountability. Not responsibility but accountability as we live in a world that say “do what is right for you”. When … Continue reading →

There are some who demand priority over God’s will and seek to be the center of our hearts. They deny it but it is revealed when a deeper love of God is shown. The Holy Spirit reveals truth. If our family shares in our convictions then its not a problem. But if not, Christ promised division in families for his name sake. It should never be a requirement to love someone that you put Jesus to the back for their egos or comfort.
