People talk about love and loving others all the time. Usually people who aren’t even Christians talk about how God is love and how it’s all about love and that love is the most important thing. Whenever I hear such things I can’t help but wonder, what is the end game? To me, when someone … Continue reading →

People who have said that they were once believers until they learned “the … Continue reading →

In the recesses of our hearts we secretly hold the Lord in a temporary status of “We have faith in you”. What we don’t allow ourselves to verbalize is that we have faith in the Lord as long as… or until we think He is keeping something from us. We often find ourselves standing at … Continue reading →

Matthew 13 24 He presented another parable to them: “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while people were sleeping, his enemy came, sowed weeds[a] among the wheat, and left. 26 When the plants sprouted and produced grain, then the weeds also appeared. 27 The landowner’s slaves came to him and said, ‘Master, … Continue reading →

Thus says the Lord, “Cursed is the man who trusts in and relies on mankind, Making [weak, faulty human] flesh his strength, And whose mind and heart turn away from the Lord .“For he will be like a shrub in the [parched] desert; And shall not see prosperity when it comes, But shall live in … Continue reading →

Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. – Matthew 18:3-4 Every day we “adults” get up and go be grown-ups. In the process we forget. … Continue reading →
