Sin

Ask 10 people what sin is and you’ll likely get 10 different responses. On top of that, they probably won’t be based on the Bible. That’s a problem, since “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23), we should know what this disease that lives in each of us is. Pastor Mark Driscoll explains Biblically what sin is in this sermon clip taken from Doctrine – What Christians Should Believe. How people view sin can be righteous or sinful. If you see your sin as sin and repent of it, that is righteous but if you try to justify it away that is sinful. Pastor Mark Driscoll teaches on some sinful views of sin in this clip taken from Doctrine – What Christians Should Believe. God has to respond to sin because he is righteous. He can’t just turn His back and ignore it. He responds by judging us guilty of sin and instituting the punishment for sin which is death. All people will die, but Christians won’t be punished for their sin because Jesus already took that punishment. Non-Christians will go to hell because their sin has separated them from God. Pastor Mark Driscoll teaches about God’s response to sin in this clip taken from Doctrine – What Christians Should Believe.
