Essential Truths of the Christian Faith

I recently heard a podcast by R. C. Sproul on man’s shattered image.  He made a statement that struke a cord wih me.  I don’t know if he realize how profound this statement was.  But anyway here goes:

We are sinners not because we sin. Rather, we sin because we are sinners.
